Arbitration Case Filing Fees

Filing fees

Rules amended and effective January 11, 2010. Fee schedule amended and effective January 1, 2010.

Administrative Fees

BCDR-AAA administrative fees are based on the amount of the claim or counterclaim. Arbitrator compensation is not included in this schedule. Unless the parties agree otherwise, arbitrator compensation and administrative fees are subject to allocation by the arbitrator in the award.

Fee Schedule

An Initial Filing Fee is payable in full by the filing party when a claim, counterclaim, or additional claim is filed. A Case Service Fee will be incurred for all cases that proceed to their first evidential hearing. This fee must be paid, in advance, at the time the first hearing is scheduled. This fee will be refunded at the conclusion of the case if no evidential hearings have occurred. However, if BCDR-AAA is not notified at least 24 hours before the time of the scheduled evidential hearing, the Case Service Fee will remain and will not be refunded.

All fees for the Standard Fee Schedule - effective January 1, 2010 - will be billed in accordance with the rates below.
