Truncated Tribunals

Fathi Waly

ABSTRACT

This article addresses the issue of truncated tribunals, which have been rejected by Egyptian courts, but are permissible under UNCITRAL Rules 2010 and CRCICA Rules 2011. The author concludes that while truncated tribunals contradict essential principles of due process, they may be warranted under certain circumstances based on general principles of law.
